SPARTAN

I really enjoyed this movie. It was interesting, and the scenes were shot in realistic, intruiging ways. The movie came off as really gritty and believable. All the acting in it is pretty good. It also has a feeling of resounding 'cool' to it, and is definitly a action suspense movie. The movie is about Scott (Val Kilmer), some dude who is in the Special Forces or Black Ops or the Secret Service or something (because everyone respects him), and is called in to help revtrieve the daughter of the President. Then the whole movie is set off in a series of twists (and good twists, believe me) and turns (followable turns) the leave you feeling very smart for understanding it all. People in the movie take believable courses of action, adn the cinematography is very cool, and, shall I say, sparse. WATCH THIS MOVIE! GOOD MOVIE!!

A film is -or should be- more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the meaning, "all that comes later.
-Stanley Kubrick
